If you have previously adopted an animal from the Danaher Animal Home and would like to include their picture on this part of the internet site, then please attach the picture to an email, and send it to webmaster@rspcaessex.org.uk.

Dylan (formerly Duke) and Angel were adopted from us separately around November 2001. They are, however, now the best of friends.

"We would like to thank Wethersfield for our beautiful Dalmations."

This is Jack, formerly know as Jacko. He was re-homed in January 2000 and was very thin (only 15kg!!) with many other problems. He is now a happy, fit dog, has many friends and has even done obedience training. His devotion to his new family is amazing. "Thank you for making this possible."

Sam was adopted from the animal home in January/February 2003 and has settled in at his new home well.

Barney the Lurcher was adopted from us in December 2002. We're told he's settled in very quickly with his new family and he has a wonderful temprement!

Bob was adopted from us at the beginning of the year. He's settled in fine and loves to play football!

Twiggy the whippet was adopted from us at the end of August 2002. She is pictured here at 7 months and is loved dearly by her new family - even though she loves to dig the garden up whenever she can and bury treats and stuff!

Archie was re-homed 18 months ago from the Danaher Animal Home and is pictured here having fun in the snow!

Rosie was adopted in January 1999 while her owners were living at the Great Holland Village Store/Post Office. Now, they've moved to a more exotic location in New Zealand! Apparently, she hasn't lost her English accent though!

This is Cassie. She was adopted as a puppy from the animal home and will be 4 around Christmas 2002. Her breed, however, seems to be a bit of a mystery with some vets saying that she is a GSD/pointer cross, while others are not so sure. Any ideas?

This is Jess. Adopted from the animal home on 6th July 2002 she is now settling in well with her new owners, although she does dig up the garden every now and again! Some people have likened her to Scooby Doo - what do you think?

This is Jack - a Jack Russel adopted in April 2002 from Wethersfield. His hair has now completely grown back following his flee allergy and he is settling in really well - apart from howling during the theme tune to Coronation Street!

This is Penny. Adopted from the home in June 2002, she is settling into her new home in Cheshire and sends her love and licks!

This is Amber (sister of William - see below) who was adopted from the Danaher Animal Home. Amber was adopted on 23 June 2000. She was one of 10 Standard Poodles (the first to go) that were taken in by the Danaher Animal Home in Essex. She now lives in Suffolk, close to Shingle Street, and tours the country during the show season with the famous Suffolk Punch Horses. She touches the hearts of everyone she meets. The first picture shows Amber with her brothers and sisters at the Danaher Animal Home. The second picture was taken when she was on holiday in Cornwall at 8 months old. Amber's family would love her to be reunited with all, if not some, of her brothers and sisters.

This is Bonnie. Bonnie was adopted in October 2001 and is a companion for a lady in Hertfordshire.

She now lives in a house backing onto an open parkland and has become a much loved member of the family.

Boots (previously known as Meg) was adopted in December 2001. Pictured here with Max and J.D, he lives with Max who is 12. The two play together constantly and just adore each other.
J.D. stays and visits often, and the in space should be a Bichon who was being camera shy! Boots has fitted in beautifully. She is great fun and now does agility regularly.
Thank you Danaher for a wonderful little dog!

This is Jake. He was adopted in March 2002 and he wants to thank you all for helping him when he was down. Pictured with Amber, Jake gets lots of attention and walks.

Honey was rescued in January 1999, and is now over 3 years old. She has Bronze & Silver certificates from the Kennel Club Companion Dog Club, and is working to get her Gold Certificate.

William was adopted almost 2 years ago and is very much a part of his new owners life. He was one of 7 standard poodles that were taken in by the Danaher Animal Home. The photo was taken during his daily run on the beach at Walton on the Naze.

Skye was brought into the Danaher Animal Home when she was 2½. She was re-homed once, but sadly was returned and remained in the kennels for 4 months.

One of the things about constantly being at the Animal Home is that you feel sorry for all the animals there and wish you could take them all home yourself. In this case, I couldn't resist and Skye has now been living with me since August 2000.
